St. Patrick's Co-Cathedral
St. Patrick's Co-Cathedral is the mother church for the Yellowstone River valley. With 600 families, ours is a friendly Catholic faith community whose membership comes from all across the valley. St. Patrick's has been calling people to prayer and Christian service since the first settlers arrived. Open all day, every day, from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., the church is part of the walking tour of historic downtown Billings. It is handicapped accessible and guided tours are available by appointment. We welcome you to our services or to visit our buildings.
Historic St. Patrick's is a diverse, welcoming, Catholic community committed to gathering as a sacramental family sharing our faith in ministry and Christian service.
Weekly Reflection
Hearing God’s voice and understanding what God is asking of us is not easy. It requires patience and practice and a sincere desire to do God’s will. The Spirit is always with us prompting us to see what God wants from us. But we are very hard of hearing and our lives are filled with so much noise it is hard to hear the whispering of the Spirit. We need to take time alone to pray and reflect and listen to that small voice inside us. We also need to test our understanding to be sure it is God’s will and not our own and pray that God’s will is made clear.
