Catholic Charities Appeal The
annual NH Catholic Charities appeal was held on the weekend of April
28-29. As you well know, the parish has a good reputation of
being generous with the less fortunate in our midst. The Catholic
Charities organization has an excellent track record for spending its
money on those who need it the most. Very little is used for
administrative purposes while none is used frivolously. If
you were not here on the weekend of the appeal, please take a brochure
at the entrance of the church. Your donation can be sent directly
to the CC office or it can be returned in the collection basket.
Helping the less fortunate is a mandate we received from the
Scriptures, a mandate you have often proven you take seriously. I
am sure that you will take this appeal to heart and be as generous as
possible
Rice Bowls
If you still have your Rice Bowls from the Lenten Season, please
remember to return them as soon as possible. We would like to
send your donations to the CRS office in the near future. As
always, we thank you for your generosity toward the less fortunate

Grades K – High School
All children from grade K – the end of
Confirmation must register. The registration does not roll
over from one year to the next. You can pick up a form in the
back of the church or you can visit the parish office Monday – Thursday
during office hours or give us a call at 483-8481 and ask us to mail
you a form. We would be happy to do this
Grades K- 3 Classes for children
in these grades have class every week between September 30 and May 15th
except Christmas and Easter. The children in grades 1 and 2 must
attend regularly is they are to be prepared for their First Communion
at the end of grade two. This is a two year program.
Grades 4 – 10 + The classes
are held once a month and the program is geared to the entire family.
Parents are strongly urged to attend the sessions as there is an adult
component to the program which helps them to deepen their knowledge of
the faith as well as making it possible for them to compliment the
practice of the faith in the home. Our last class for this
school year was on Sunday, April 15th in Auburn. We will resume
classes in September.

Question of the Week
7th Sunday of Easter
Theme: (Jesus gives us special gifts)
Reading Acts of the Apostles 7:55-60 (I can see the heavens thrown
open and the Son of Man standing at the right hand of God.)
Reading Rev.22: 12-17(Come, Lord Jesus!)
Gospel: John 17: 20-26 (Father, may they be one in us!)
Question
for Adults:
Jesus invites us to be one with God. Name a moment when you were
one with God this past week.) Many
people have difficulty understanding exactly what it means to be one
with God. Perhaps a good way to better understand this concept is
to reflect on the meaning of being one with someone we love. This
may be our spouse or a close friend, a sibling or a child. When
do we experience this oneness? How is it manifested?
Our relationship with God often if not always follows our human
experience. How then have you experienced oneness with God.
Perhaps it was when you showed your love to someone who needed
it. Take some time to reflect on this during the
week.
Question for the Teens: Jesus
prayed for his disciples, that others might believe in him through
their words. How are you spreading your belief in Jesus through
your words and actions? Do others know who Jesus is by knowing
you? Sometime we take this idea too literally. We walk
away thinking that we are being asked to preach to others about
Jesus. In reality what you are being asked to do is to act on
your beliefs. For example, if you believe that being Christian
means loving others but you are selective about the people you choose
to be loving to, what does that say about Christians? The same
goes for being forgiving, accepting, peace makers, etc. So, how
are you spreading the Good News in your life?
Question
for Children? Jesus tells us He is
always with us. Name a time this past week when you knew that God
was with you in a special way? Perhaps you could begin by
having a discussion with your child about what it feels like to have
God with them? You might want to compare it to yourself and how
they “feel” you with them during the day. Then you can move on to
being with them in a special way.
