Parish office hours
    Our parish office is open Monday through Thursday from 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM. The Pastoral Associate is in most afternoons until 4:00 PM.  If you need to come in the PM please give us a call to make sure someone is here. Messages can always be left on the answering machine. 

Are you registered?
     Are you new to our parish?   If you are, please pick up a registration form in the vestibule of the church. Registration is very important.  Just drop it in the basket or mail it to our office.  Thanks!  We are always happy to receive new parishioners.  We welcome you and pray you will be happy here with us.

Please use church envelopes 
    Envelope users provide the bedrock of our financial support.  Please consider using them.  New packets of envelopes are mailed every three months. If you would like to receive some but you are not yet on the mailing list, please call Jeannine to give her your name and address. Thank you!

Christian Formation News

Grades K – High School       All children from grade K – 10 must register.  The registration does not roll over from one year to the next.  You can pick up a form in the back of the church or you can visit the parish office Monday – Thursday during office hours or give us a call at 483-8481 and ask us to mail you a form.  We would be happy to do this Grades K- 3  The children in grades K – 3 attend classes during the weekend liturgies.  We use a Lectionary Catechesis which is based on the Gospel of the week.  Kindergarten students are not obliged to attend regularly.  However, beginning with grade l, students must attend classes on a weekly basis as the program for 1st Communion is a two year program.  It is vital that students continue with their Christian Formation even after their 1st Communion. This year’s program will begin on September 15, 2007 Grades 4 – 10 +    This program is designed for both parents and children.  Parents are asked to attend the sessions as they have the opportunity to refresh their memory on important matters of the faith . This year’s program for the Generations of Faith has come to an end as of April 13th.                      Schedule of Classes

Question for Adults:  In what areas of my life do I need a stronger faith? This question demands that we take inventory of various areas of our life.  We often think that our faith is in good shape when we confine our thinking to church related events such as Sunday Mass.  However, how strong is our faith when it relates to our finances, our relationships with family and friends, or even our social activities?  Do we carry God into all areas of our life?  If not, why don’t we?  Perhaps we could think about that this week and then pray that God will help increase our faith when and where we most need it.

Question for Children?  Am I worried or afraid about something?  How can Jesus help me? Sometimes children are afraid of something and they do not know how to express it.  We often have to guess by their acting out.  This question will enable you to lead your child into the practice of seeking Jesus’ help when they are afraid or worried  about things they cannot control themselves.  Take the time to make a list of things they can share with Jesus and help them to think of a short prayer they can say when they most need it.

The Children Need Your Help!

News from your Spiritual Adoption baby
3rd Month. . .I grabbed my hand today. The baby can now squint, swallow and move his tongue.  He/she also has the beginnings of fingernails.  The baby now has his/her own unique set of fingerprints.  Sensitive to touch, he will lightly grasp an object placed in the palm of his hand.  He breathes ambriolic fluid to help develop and strengthen the respiratory system but continues to live in and through the umbilical cord.  Your baby is now approximately 3 inches long.

Office Assistant Job Opening:
    There is a job opening for an office assistant at the Sonshine Soup Kitchen at 4 Crystal Avenue in Derry, NH.  The hours are from Monday through Thursday from 3:00 to 6:00 pm.  The right candidate will need to work with volunteers, guests and staff.  They will have to use Microsoft Office 2000 for letter writing, data management, etc.  Besides training volunteers and assisting with office work there will some moderate physical activity which could mean having to lift up to 50 pounds.  If interested please contact Cynthia Dwyer via mail or e-mail.  The e-mail address is sskdirector@verizon.net

Food Pantry for April  This month our pantry shelves are in  need of  Tuna, Macaroni & Cheese,  and Cereal.  We can also use Instant Dry Milk. Thank you very much for all you do for those less fortunate.
