We ask you Father, bless us in our great need for you

We do not always appreciate the gift we have been given.  Help us to understand the great gift you have given us and continue to give despite our apathy.
Stand Beside Her
We beg you not to abandon us despite our obstinacy and callous ways
And Guide Her
Help our leaders to be open to the light of your truth and not only to their own light
Through the Night with a Light from Above
We have had many “nights” or dark moments lately.  We need your light to see the way we must move forward.  Not in our own selfish ways but in the generous spirit you have modeled through the gifts given to our country.

From the Mountains,
These mountains that are one of our most beautiful signs of your presence
Mountains that peak and lead the eye to the heavens
To the Prairies,
The vastness and beauty of our land is made visible on these great plains.  Help us to see our lives in conjunction to your beauty and help us to journey toward you as we struggle in this life.
To the Oceans White with Foam
These natural boundaries of our land are definitely the most visible signs of your depth, your power and grandeur.  It is no wonder that millions of Americans will stream to these oceans for revitalization.  Your presence there is overwhelming.
