St.
Paul of the Cross Monastery
Novena Announcement
Since 1925 St. Paul's Monastery has been holding Novena Services on Mondays.
.
A Novena is a special prayer service, a prayerful devotion asking God's
blessings for a special need… for example, a loved one who is sick, a family
member in the armed services, a job search, or a friend undergoing an operation.
.
At St. Paul's Monastery the Novena prayers are addressed to St. Paul of
the Cross, St. Gabriel, and St. Gemma. These are Passionist saints,
members of God's heavenly family, who are asked to intercede for our intentions
-- to pray for us and for our needs.
.
Over the years many such intercessory prayers have been said, and God has
blessed those who have cared enough to bring their needs to God through
the Novena prayers.
.
Why not come to St. Paul's Monastery
on Mondays.
.
Novena Prayers follow special Masses at
7:00 AM, 8:30 AM, 10:30 AM, 2:00 PM, & 5:30 PM.
There is a special Novena Service at 7:00
PM.
.
(After each of the Services on Monday
understanding Passonist priests hear individual confessions for those wanting
to make use of that healing Sacrament.)
