“March For Life”
![]() Syracuse, NY, January 20th and Washington, DC, January 22nd Our young Deaf joined with others from the Syracuse Diocese on a cold, snowy day to support Life...from conception to natural death. Then we boarded a bus for the long drive. We toured St Mary’s Seminary where we met the seminarians from our diocese and had Mass. Sunday, we toured DC, and later attended the Mass at the Basilica with 10,000. Monday we woke early to attend the youth rally and Mass with 15,000 before joining hundreds of thousands to march down Constitution Avenue to the Supreme Court to support life. It was an awesome adventure! Our friend Kris Scheible, who is learning sign language, led us through the crowds. ![]()

May they rest in peace: Edmund Berrigan, Jean Hebbard, and Helen Ann (Centro) Pardi We hope that Jack Linsky, St Lucy’s Deaf Community, is recovering from his heart surgery! Soon the annual Hope Appeal will start. I ask that you be generous. It funds many ministries that are needed : Catholic Charities, religious education, vocations, Deaf ministry, etc. March 3rd’s FX Youth Rally was both fun and inspiring. (It was interpreted of course!) The speaker, Caroline Gambale, was really good. Please pray for young people everywhere.

TIME AWAY FOR ADULTS
| “Be seeds of holiness scattered by the handful in the furrows of history.” Pope Benedict XVI |
The Question of the Month:
Last time, no one even tried for the $15...It must be a stumper!
Try again: You know that the first pope was St Peter.
Who was the second pope?
