On September 27th we will celebrate 55 years since Fr

THIS & THAT
Hopefully you have all saved September 27th to celebrate our 55th
Anniversary! Fr Donovan started meetings in 1948...and see how we
have grown and changed.
The summer was full of many good times...picnics galore, family
get-togethers, and much traveling. It was good for me to see many
of you. I wish I could have made every activity!
Now it will soon be cooler...and the days will shorten. It is a
good time to think of something new. Maybe the Discussion Group
on the Catholic Faith. Maybe starting a daily Rosary during
October. Maybe volunteering to visit one class at NYSSD. What
else can you think of?!
We offer our prayers for the family of Regina Welch whose father
Emanuel S Alfieri died August 12th. May he rest in peace.
Remember that if you or someone you know is in the hospital and wants
someone to visit...they MUST tell the nurses! No one can visit
unless they are named!
Would you like to see Mass interpreted at St Mary’s in Cortland?
