Vol 19 No 4 December 2008 -January - February 2009

CHANGE

North (Fulton)
In January, the Holy Family-St Michael family will move to the Immaculate Conception church building, and a new parish will begin: Holy Trinity!  Masses should still be interpreted, but please keep checking about the scheduling during this time. Thanks.

South (Johnson City)
In January, interpreted Mass will change to every Sunday instead of the alternating Sunday-Saturday as it is now.

East (Rome)
Mass will be interpreted on some Saturday evenings at  5:15 PM.  Please check the calendars for the dates.
It is hard to find interpreters to set up a regular schedule, but we will try the best we can.

NCYC 2009   November 19 - 21 Kansas City, MO     Video

The National Catholic Youth Conference is a wonderful opportunity for high school students to see how big the Catholic Church is...and their place in it.  Interpreters are provided, and there are workshops by Deaf Priests.
Deaf Ministry in Kansas City is ready for us!

Please let me know if you are interested in your child attending this amazing gathering: syrdeaf@juno.com

There are scholarships available, but they must be applied for EARLY.  Please let me know if you would like to apply, and I will help.    Let me know as soon as possible.
