A Wonderful Opportunity So Near To Us!

Join Fr Tom Coughlin, Brother Adam Zawadzki, and Matthew Hysell for a week long study and retreat with St Matthew the Evangelist, the attributed author of ‘the gospel of the Church’...in ASL for Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing Catholics.

Sunday, June 22nd through Saturday, June 28th At Camp Mark Seven, Old Forge, NY

Each morning, gather for prayer, attend daily workshops, celebrate daily Mass, and visit the old city of Montreal in Quebec, Canada.  Afternoons are free for hiking, swimming, or seeing the area.  Share your faith and rediscover Sacred Scripture with fellow believers, and return home with a renewed understanding of the Catholic Church’s love for the Bible.

The cost of the week is $375.
An ICDA Scholarship of $100 is available for any applicant.

If you are interested, please contact Ms Carrie Fisher.

This & That

These are pictures I took while in New Orleans at the NCOD Conference.

Terri (2nd from right), my friend who lives there, took Fr Ray Fleming, two Pastoral Workers from GA, and myself on a tour of the devastation.

This picture is  near the canal that broke: once a thriving neighborhood, now just a field of concrete blocks.

Congratulations to Beth & Robert Heinlein, and big brother Mathew, on the birth of twin girls: Kadence Paige and Olivia Sloane on December 16th 2007.

May she rest in peace: Arlene F. Miller, the sister of  Shirleyann Colburn

Be sure and ask Joan Keeffe about her 2 month visit with her sister and niece in New Mexico.  Fr Tony Keeffe joined them for Christmas.  Welcome home!
