February 13 Ash Wednesday Dinner - Red Lobster
Following 5:30 Cathedral Mass, ACT members will have dinner at Red Lobster. It could provide a unique way to share your faith since you will have ashes on your forehead! Meet near the baptismal font in the Cathedral after Mass around 6:30 pm.
February 16 Dinner at Logan's - Bowling at Ten Pin
Meet at 7 pm at Logan's Roadhouse, across from Mall St. Matthews. After dinner, bowl at Ten Pin Lanes just behind there. This is a change to practice for the upcoming 'Bowl for Kid's Sake' on March 2nd. Bowling is $2.75/game and shoes are $1.50. Please call Melissa Wezet at 895-8321 by February 15.
February 17 Monthly Gathering - Speakers on Religious Prespectives
Meet at 6:45 pm in the former bank building across from the Cathedral. Our guest speakers, Maher El-SHerif and Edmund D'Souza, are both young adults in our group. They will reflect on their faith experiences in countries where they are part of a religious minority.
February 20 Hurstbourne Lunch Bunch @ 1 pm
Several ACT members meet once every other week for lunch at 1 pm. If you work in the Hurstbourne Lane area and would like to attend, please e-mail Edmund D'Souza or call him at 326-2129. He will contact you with a location. Please note that by unanimous consent, the new day is now Wednesday.
February 20 B-I-N-G-O at Sacred Heart Villages @ 6:30 pm
Play bingo with residents of the Sacred Heart retirement home, located at 2120 Payne St. We award prizes, so please bring small personal items. You may contact Andrea to sign-up and get more ideas on what to bring... she is in the know.
February 23 Panther Land Ice Skating @ 8 pm
Don ice skates and prepare to be humbled! Pantehr Land arena is located at 1701 UPS Drive just off N. Hurstbourne Lane. Cost is $4.50 to skate with $2 for figure skates and $3 for hockey skates. Please call Melissa by Feb 22.
February 24 Feed the Homeless - Sandwich Handout
ACT is committed to providing volunteers for the Cathedral's outreach program to feed the homeless on the fourth and fifth Sundays of the month. Please contact Pat Mudd at 363-5612 to volunteer. Meet at 12:30 pm in the auditorium next door to the Cathedral.
February 27 Happy Hour at Ernestos Restaurant @ 5:30 pm
Meet at the restaurant at the interaction of Hikes Lane and Breckinridge Lane. The group may choose to stay for dinner. Please call Melissa by Feb. 26.
March 2 'Bowl for Kids Sake' Fundraiser - Rose Bowl Lanes
Lend a helping hand to the Big Brothers and Big Sisters foundation by collecting pledges and bowling from 1-3 pm at Rose Bowl Lanes, 2217 Goldsmith Lane. Domino's pizza and drinks will be available at participants. Please collect a minimum of $50 in pledges to participate.
