Sacramental and CCD ProgramsOur parish identifies parents as being primary role models for sacramental preparation. CCD classes, offered throughout the school year, follow a scope and sequence that stems from the "Living Waters" authorship team. Dedicated teachers plan lessons, which enrich our parish children in their experience of growing up Catholic. Classes are offered quarterly to parents who are planning an infant baptism. The first Communion and Reconciliation programs bring parents and their children together in order to prepare for the sacraments. Classes include diocesan policy, church practices, open discussions, liturgical plans, and indoctrination from our pastor.
Formation Programs for AdultsA variety of discussion topics are offered throughout the year. Our pastor and coordinator of religious education facilitate sessions. Contact the Mercy Center office, or check postings in the weekly bulletin. Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament Church extends an open invitation to all individuals interested in the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA).
