POT LUCK & LENTEN SPEAKER

On April 2nd, at 12 noon, there will be a Pot Luck Meal at Marion Barrata's home. Kevin Frank will talk about the Lenten Season.

COLLEGE RESEARCH PROJECT
Sarah Chatterton, a senior at Hamilton College, is studying memory in ASL users. She needs Deaf volunteers during April. No names will be used.
It will take 30 minutes and pay $3 which can be donated to RCIL or the Catholic Deaf Community.

This is mid-Lent. But before we know it, Holy Week will be here. A week in which we take time to remember how Jesus saved us.

The same as on a rollercoaster climbing up to the first hill, we start at Palm Sunday. A joyous day as Jesus is greeted with people waving palms. Everyone wants to be with him!! Hosanna !!

At the top of the first hill, it is Holy Thursday and the night of the Last Supper when Jesus changed the bread and wine into His Body and Blood. What a gift!!

Then, whoosh, we are heading down fast...Jesus' suffering in the garden, His arrest, trial, tortures.
Good Friday we reflect on all He did to save us--death on a cross.

Holy Saturday and we start going up again...the Easter Vigil starts in darkness, but gives way to light. Jesus is risen!! He is the Light of the world! Easter! We can now breathe easy and join with all Christians and proclaim:
ALLELUIA!!!

Margaret Goodnow Long, mother-in-law of Jane Long, died March15th.
May she rest in peace.
